Chapter 7 - 7. Underestimating

Jasmine continued to follow Sam, who was walking in front of her. Jasmine felt that her arrival would meet this time with a lot of trouble. However, he had gotten used to it, and now he wanted to see what would greet him.

She stopped in her tracks when she saw Sam stop right in front of a room whose door was tightly shut. Sam opened the door, and it was clear that many people were waiting for him.

They were all shareholders, and Jasmine stepped into the room. Everyone's eyes were on her. There was distrust towards Jasmine from some of the already present people.

Sam shifted a chair and then looked at Jasmine while telling the lady to sit down. Jasmine nodded, then walked over and sat on the chair.

"Okay, let's start the meeting," said a middle-aged man who looked very charismatic.

One by one began to talk about the problems that had occurred. Someone commented that Jasmine was not suitable to represent her father.

However, Jasmine didn't flinch, and she only smiled faintly in response to the scathing comments from all of them who belittled her. She just wanted to know to what extent they would do that.

Now the problem is a hotel. The hotel experienced a decrease in visitors, and it made a considerable loss.

Debate after debate took place, and no one wanted to lose with their arguments. Jasmine couldn't help but sigh, and she thought she had to find the point of the problem.

"Just keep on arguing! I'd better find the problem point of the hotel. I didn't think my father could work with people like this," said Jasmine.

Who was already annoyed with the debate that was going on?

"You're still a kid! Don't underestimate us who have been in the hotel business for years!" said a middle-aged woman with pride.

"It's true that I'm still young in this business world. However, your attitude like this indicates that you are…,"

Before continuing her sentence, Jasmine dismissed it. He didn't want to heat this already stuffy room.

"Send a report on the results of this meeting! I'd better wait in another room!" Jasmine said to Sam.

"No need! We will go from here. There's no point in continuing this meeting anyway. I want to see how far Mr. Adam educates his daughter!" said a middle-aged man who got up from her seat and walked out of the meeting room.

One by one, the meeting members came out, not a single one looking at Jasmine. They all still don't believe in their abilities.

Only one man saw if his age was not that far from Jasmine. He watched Jasmine's every move.

"Are you going to insult me again?" Jasmine asked him.

"Not. I just want to see how far the daughter of Lord Adam goes against all of them," the man replied casually and then he walked over.

"Then you can see it with your own eyes!" replied Jasmine.

The man smiled coldly and then walked away, leaving Jasmine and Sam. Jasmine frowned. She didn't know the man who had just left and the father never explained the man.

"Who is he, Sam?" asked Jasmine, who was curious about the man.

"Mr Dean Milles, he is Mr Robert's surrogate owner. As far as I know, Mr Robert is friendly with your father, Miss," replied Sam

. "Mr Sam, hurry up, that person keeps wanting to meet Mr Adam!" said a woman who had been blocking his way.

"Show him where he is!" Jasmine said firmly.

The woman immediately showed the way, and she was tired of dealing with this impolite and perverted looking man.

"Miss, you have to be careful with that man," the woman said and opened a door.

Jasmine nodded then she walked into the room accompanied by Sam. It was clear that a middle-aged man was sitting on the sofa.

"Sam, who did you bring? I don't need a comfort woman this afternoon. What I need is, Adam," The man said very disgustingly.

"What business do you have with, Mr Adam?!" Jasmine asked with emphasis.

"Who are you to ask me? Even Adam is afraid of me," said the middle-aged man.

Jasmine smirked, then said, "I have never heard that Mr Adam is afraid of someone like you, and he has never said that to me either."

The man chuckled. He was very amused by what Jasmine had said. He did not know if the one in front of him was the daughter of Adam.

"I don't need you here. Come with me to the room, I will make you happy in bed."

The man said in a disgusting tone, the look in his eyes already making Jasmine feel irritated. He could no longer be patient this time.

"You'd better get out of here! Why make a fuss if you have nothing important to say. Or I'll tell Sam to kick you out!" Jasmine said in annoyance because she was already infuriated by what the middle-aged man had said.

"How dare you throw me out! No one can chase me away!" replied the middle-aged man in a high tone.

"Is that true? No one dares to throw you out, sir?" said a man in a cold tone.

The man had just entered the room, he accidentally passed the room and heard the man's words.

'Who is that man?' Jasmine said to herself, then turned around to see who had told that.
