Once again, Rowan only got a few words out of his mouth before he was interrupted, this time by a knock on the infirmary door. Apparently the knock was only perfunctory, because the door slid open and Kit strode in, their usual bounce in their step.
"I distinctly recall giving orders not to disturb us." Nicasi appeared in the doorway of his workroom, an open bottle in each hand and a glower on his face.
"Oh…it's just you," he grumbled when he saw it wasn't one of his adherents.
"Aww. I really missed you, too. Clio told me where to find you," Kit smiled at him "And I brought the conduits I made for your new adherents, as promised. You're welcome."
"Thanks," Nicasi said and went back into the workroom to finish his task.
