Nagini and Liao Ru walked together and looked around. Siberia was all too familiar to them, the snowy mountains and some trees without leaves was just a familiar sight to them. Orishi and Orika followed behind them.
"It's been a while since we last were in Siberia. This would be the last place we all were together before the Original Overlord attacked." Liao Ru said and looked around.
"Mhm. The place Dr. Ashikaga died and I became the Ruler of Science and she became the Ruler of Death. I took on both the Overlord of Thunder and the Original Overlord and won. Till this day, I may be the second strongest...but no one else would ever have a feat like mine." Nagini smiled and stopped walking then saw a few Fallen in front of them.
"Mind showing me that feat, Number X?" Liao Ru asked and summoned her weapon.
"Watch and learn Number IV." Nagini smirked and summoned her cross.
Orishi and Orika got prepared for battle. Orishi looked at Liao Ru and Nagini. She smiled and looked ahead then all four of them rushed into battle against the Fallen.
The Fallen looked at the Valkyrias and readied themselves. Nagini switched her cross into Attack Mode then slashed at the Fallen, taking them out in one hit. Liao Ru changed her weapon into a lance then she jumped into the air and surrounded her lance with flames then threw it down to the ground, striking multiple Fallen then caused an medium sized explosion.
Orishi slashed swiftly at the Fallen, cutting through them then slashed in a circle and sliced multiple Fallen in half. Orika spread out her arms and summoned multiple ice spears to rain down on the Fallen. They took down the Fallen with ease and Nagini made her cross disappear.
"Hmph...these Fallen feel slightly different. They are weaker than I remember." Nagini said then looked at Liao Ru.
"They do...some of them felt no stronger than the Fell Beasts we've been fighting for a couple years now. Maybe this is the cause of a premature resurrection. They don't have their cores so Fallan can't summon anything stronger than a Full Powered Silent Fox." Liao Ru crossed her arms.
"Can you ladies explain what you mean? How are the Overlords weakened?" Orishi asked.
"They need their Cores to be whole. Meaning they need their Cores to be at max power and since they don't have their Cores they are in a weakened state. We have to keep it like that to prevent things from getting worse. I know there is a core here, but I don't know which one. My data didn't tell me what core was here, but it did show the Gem of Humanity is here." Nagini said.
The three of them watched her summon a tiny Mecha to show a holographic map of where the Gem of Humanity is located.
"The dot. It's moving.." Liao Ru said.
"Yeah that's because someone has it..." Nagini glared. "Hope you all can keep up."
Nagini summoned her platform and it transformed into a hoverboard. She jumped on top of it and rode off.
Liao Ru ran ahead and summoned her sword with the scabbard then tossed it forward then jumped on top of it, riding it like a hoverboard.
"They aren't going to leave us behind. Let's catch up." Orishi said.
"Mmm." Orika nodded.
Orishi found an old snowboard and ran forward. "Let's ride!" Orishi smiled and her clothes changed into a winter coat, warm pants and snow boots. Snow goggles appeared over her eyes and she began to snowboard after Liao Ru and Nagini.
Orika ran forward and began to lift the snow and began to surf on the snow after the other three.
"Whoever has the Gem is pretty fast...but not fast enough!" Nagini yelled and manipulated her speed and gained a boost of speed, rushing forward and causing the air to explode.
The four of then flew into the air, using the mountains as a ramp. Nagini locked on to the person then summoned her cross then switched it to its Origin Mode then shot a beam at the target and hit the person's leg, making them fall. The four of them landed perfectly and rushed after the target.
Orishi snowboarded from side to side, avoiding the trees then noticed Fallen were being summoned towards them. "Fuck...you can't be serious with this shit."
The Fallen were humanoid ice monsters that skated on the snow beside them. Liao Ru boarded side to side, avoiding the ice spears being shot at her. She summoned her sword then cloaked herself in flames then jumped off the scabbard of her sword and slashed multiple times, sending multiple flaming cutting waves at the Fallen.
Orika manipulated the snow into an Ice Golem and the Golem began to strike down the Fallen as well. The golem roared and began to run down the mountain. The golem then jumped to a leveled part of the land then slammed its fists against the ground, causing the ground to shake.
Orishi looked back, noticing massive slabs of snow breaking loose from the mountainside. She let out a yell of terror as she was in the path of an avalanche. "You three forget, I am no Ruler! I am still human!"
Liao Ru looked back at Orishi then manifested her phoenix wings then flew to Orishi and swept her off her feet then flew away from the avalanche that struck down the Fallen. Liao Ru landed on the ground next to Orika and gently put her down.
Orishi fell to her knees and sighed in relief. "This is insanity...My students are already this powerful. I need a smoke break after this.."
Nagini walked to the person with the Gem of Humanity then gripped her hair and raised her off the ground. She looked at the woman and looked at her appearance. She had snow white skin, icy blue lips and her eyes was light blue with no pupils. Her hair was icy blue and she had an ice crown over her head. She wore a dress that was made from ice.
"Orishi, do you recognize this person?" Nagini asked then faced Orishi.
Orishi stood up and looked at the woman in Nagini's hand then glared. "That's one of Apeiron's creations. That is Glayze of the Primordial Monster Hunters. Why is she helping the Fallen..?"
"Hmph. As I could've guessed, she's a monster." Nagini looked at Glayze. "I just don't recognize this monster at all...Hand over the Gem and I'll spare your life."
Glayze looked at them coldly and Orika looked at Glayze then held out her hand then constructed a giant ice spear.
"Give us the Gem." Orika said coldly.
Glayze smirked and closed her eyes. "You honestly believe you're getting this Gem that easily from me? You'll have to kill me to get this Gem."
"Ha! And have Yoshida kill us for killing you? Your little tactics won't work on us." Orishi said.
Glayze summoned her ice staff and smiled at us. "Yoshida will put you all in your place. He's become the Ultimate Being. He's become more powerful than one could realize...He will be Quietus's vessel."
Nagini dropped Glayze then stomped her foot down and her Fell Snake emerged from the ground slowly. "You're not going to stop us from getting that Gem. Frankly I don't care who I kill to complete my goal. I'll deal with the consequences later. Now you have two options...hand over the Gem...or die."
"I'd rather die!" Glayze laughed and slammed the bottom of her staff on the ground. "Ultimate Freeze!"
A powerful blizzard was summoned and began to freeze the air itself then began to freeze time.
"Humans have mistreated us for long enough, Earth has mistreated us and now it's time for you all to die!" Glayze laughed then looked surprised when Liao Ru began to unfreeze the air.
"I won't allow you to kill us!" Liao Ru bellowed and her flames broke through Glayze's Ultimate Freeze. "I am the Ruler of Inferno. I am The Blaze. As long as my Will lives on, I won't quit until I've known I truly lost!"
Liao Ru bellowed and flew to Glayze. She punched her face and Glayze grunted loudly in pain then was blown away through multiple trees. Liao Ru flew after an her hair turned into flames then her sword was cloaked in flames as well.
"Ugh.." Orishi groaned softly after being unfrozen then looked around for Liao Ru and Nagini.
"They went that way." Orika pointed towards the trail of flames.
Orishi nodded and they rushed after Liao Ru.
"Last chance, Glayze. I can stop her." Nagini said to Glayze as she rode backwards on her floating platform.
Glayze landed on her feet and yelled then constructed an ice wall. "I'll never give you all this Gem! I'll give it to Orimi and she can become a Ruler like you all!"
"If that's your wish." Nagini said then turned the ice wall into nothing but water vapors.
Glayze looked surprised then Liao Ru appeared in front of Glayze then slashed at her three times then kicked her away. Glayze groaned as she rolled on her side. She had dropped the Gem of Humanity and Liao Ru landed behind the Gem then picked it up.
Glayze slowly stood up and smirked. "Heh...you might've gotten the Gem, but us monsters will come back to lay waste upon your precious universe. For every monster you humans have killed and harmed that is how badly we will destroy everything you love!"
Orishi and Orika finally caught up then noticed Glayze warp away.
Nagini got off her platform then sighed and crossed her arms. "I'll search for the Overlord's Core that's located here later. Right now we just need the last Gem. Let's just hope Team 3 can get the Gem of Value in a swift timeframe."
Nagini opened a portal then the four of them retreated back into Nagini's dimension. They met up with Team 1 and Nagini noticed I was missing.
"Where's my lab rat?" Nagini asked.
"Hisumi went to pursue Misao and seal her away." Yumi answered.
"What? But the Original Overlord is after Misao as well." Nagini said, worried.
"You care an awfully lot about my daughter. Why are you so interested in her?" Yusa asked.
"Because me and her will create the perfect universe together. I made her a promise to give her the life she wants, in return she becomes mine." Nagini said.
"This that what you were after this entire time?" Saito glared at Nagini.
Nagini closed her eyes and sat on her floating platform. "I can give her that perfect universe. I can give her everything she wants and she no longer has to put her head underwater for it. She can have the perfect love life, the perfect reputation, the perfect everything."
Saito, Tengu, Orika, and Yusa frowned at Nagini. They weren't too sure about Nagini anymore.
"Did she take the offer?" Yusa asked.
"No, she didn't give a definite answer. Maybe some time down the line she'll give me a definite answer, but you don't have to worry. I am still on your side." Nagini smiled and opened her eyes.
The four seemed skeptical but decided to drop it for now. Team 1 and 2 began to converse a strategy on what to do next after getting the three Gems.
