"Mom, I miss you so much. You promised never to make me worry again, but why did you do it?" Rose asked between her tears. Tears of anger mixed with happiness.
"Ugh! Sorry, miss, don't hug your Mother too tightly. She still needs to adjust her condition now. She's still weak..." The nurse in the room panicked, seeing Rose hug her Mother so tight like she was squeezing a cuddling pillow.
Rose was taken aback by the nurse's warning. In an instant, she let go of her embrace while wiping the traces of her tears.
"My stupid daughter, why are you crying?" Molly's voice was hoarse; it broke Rose's heart when she heard it. She could sense how sore her Mother's throat must have been from being dry for so long.
