"Good morning, my beautiful wife."
Rose was surprised to hear Evan's voice near her ear as soon as she opened her eyes. She tilted her head towards the voice.
"H-Hi, good morning..." Rose's hoarse voice sounded low. "What time were you home?" Rose turned to face the shirtless Evan. When their eyes locked with each other, somehow she felt melted.
This man never fails to warm her heart, even with just a simple loving gaze. Her heartbeat beats faster as his hand begins to caress her cheek.
"I arrived after midnight. And I found you asleep on your desk. You looked so tired in your sleep. And that makes me worry." Evan took a deep breath as he looked into her hazel eyes, which looked surprised. He continued, "My wife, in this house, only your husband needs to work hard, not you. You don't need to push yourself too hard. I promise you that I will provide everything you need…."
