After Gavin left the room, Evan wrapped his arms around Rose's slender waist and buried his head on her neck.
"Dear… don't be jealous anymore, huh!?" Evan whispered while exhaling her flowery fragrance. He was so addicted to her soothing scent. Don't want to let go of his arms and just want to hug her like now.
Rose was speechless. How could he know she was jealous?
She closed her laptop, placed it on the coffee table, and held Evan's hand, still wrapped around her waist.
"E-Evan, is it obvious? How could you know?" She asks shyly.
"Hmm… I can see through your face. As if there's a sign 'JEALOUS' written on your forehead." He bites her shoulder gently and makes Rose feel ticklish. She's squirming while giggling.
