Nicholas Spencer came out of the surgery room. He was surprised to see almost all of his family standing before him with their worried-looking faces.
"Why do you guys look so gloomy?" Nicholas Spencer smiled and walked towards his wife. After taking Molly's hand, he looked again at all of them…
"I feel touched that you are all here, even though tonight is Christmas Eve. You should all stay at home for dinner together…." Nicholas felt apologetic. After a moment of pause for a few breaths, he continued, "My daughter is fine. She will soon be escorted to her room. However, she was still under anesthesia. I'll let her rest. You all can see her tomorrow."
Everyone was relieved after hearing Nicholas Spencer's explanation.
"Father, Uncle Collins, you can go home and celebrate the dinner party with the others…." Nicholas said.
