"Give me your kingdom,"
Dylan stood there with his mouth agape. "um....."
"You said you will give me anything. I want your pack, your alpha position. I want it both. I want to rule his whole world. Can you give me that?" he challengingly looked his way.
"Yes." He said without a moment's hesitation.
"It's going to be hard to give up control I know but you have to do this at least for your beloved mate is not that right.... wait what? You accepted it,"
"Yes, I will give up the world for you. If.. if this world is what you want it's yours." He moved closer. The young vampires all stepped back in fear. "It's yours, Nico. I want you alone, nothing else,"
Nicolai glanced back at the kids.
Hunter gave him a thumbs up and even Darius seemed to have liked that idea.
"You do realize that giving me the title of alpha king only means that you will no longer be alpha king. I will be the king. I will make the rules.. I can.. I can easily kill you with a single order." Nicolai tested the waters. He was not sure if Dylan really understood the full effect of giving up his rule means.
Dylan chuckled. He suddenly grabbed his hand and placed it on his throat. "You can kill me.. you can kill me anytime you want but don't leave me please.. Nico.. the world is yours," he knelt down.
Him kneeling on the ground like that looked more like a proposal and he was not okay with it.
Nicolai awkwardly patted his shoulders. "I need you to stand up.. I don't feel comfortable with you on the ground like...."'
"From this day on I will abdicate as the alpha king and Nicolai nix will be the alpha king of the arctic pack and the entire world." He whispered, kissing the back of his hand.
It was all too much.
Nicolai stepped back a little. "It would be best if you can stand up.."'
"I love you Nico.. Please be my mate.. I love you so much,"
"Stand up!" he pulled the heavy man up. "I don't feel comfortable enough to accept your confession. I'm still angry Dylan. I'm still raging on the inside. There is this small urge to just strangle your throat and drink up all your blood. I'm holding back on that for a bit. Don't tempt me to,"
Dylan nodded. "So.. please... please .....agree to be with me."
Nicolai glanced back. The vampire kids gave him a thumbs up. 'gosh I don't know if what I'm doing is the right thing…' he pulled his hand out of Dylan's hold. "y-yes…"
"YES!! YES!!" he hugged him tightly.
Nico stood there frozen. Just a few hours ago he shot this man with a taser gun and here he was begging and hugging him. This made him realize how much this man was craving another person in his life.
'It can be 'used' to our advantage.' He thought silently.
Dylan let go with an awkward smile. "So.. when are we getting married? I can ask Killian to arrange our mating ceremony tomorrow. Yes. the full moon is tomorrow. We can get married then,"
"No,"
Just a word was enough to extinguish all that fire in that man's eyes.
"W-why not…"
"I don't know you. Our deal is for me to be with you. Not be mated to you. Dylan, you don't just get to walk in here and expect me to mate with you. You need to earn that right,"
"Okay okay.. What must I do…"
Nicolai raised his head up. "I think you know the answer to what I want and what you have to do. Give up your rule and help my kind rise back to its glory days. That's the least you can do. Wait I will be the king. I can do it all myself. Dylan looks like I don't have anything else I want from you,"
"I-it's okay. All I want is you." Dylan smirked. "I will win you over with my love.. I swear I will never hurt you again Nico.." His blue eyes looked so vibrant in that small dungy hut.
Nicola felt his heartbeat for a second and it went silently.
'My stupid heart.. You can't beat for him. We are only using him. He is not my beloved… he will never be the love of my life'
As he was thinking about his life's decision, he noticed two figures standing by the door.
Raven and Matt had returned and they were looking at him in shock. "Hey! Get away from Nico! He clearly doesn't want you!"
"What did you say?!" Dylan glanced back and immediately his eyes turned into golden shade.
"Shit…" he watched as an enraged Dylan rushed towards Raven. "WOLFIE!! STOP IT!"
Dylan froze like a statue.
"Look at me… come here," he gestured for him to come close.
Like a whimpering puppy, he walked close and stood with his head down.
Even Nico was surprised at how docile he looked right at that moment.
Raven looked at him, confused. "What is going on?" he mouthed.
Nico cleared his throat. "I have struck a deal with mister Dylan here,"
"Wolfie. It's Wolfie,"
"Play… I have stuck a deal with mister Wolfie right here.."
"Why are you being so formal? You can call me dear Wolfie…" Dylan looked at him with a cute head tilt.
Nico sighed. "Are you gonna let me finish?"
"Sorry go ahead."
"As I was saying, I have struck a deal with Wolfie here who happens to be my ex-beloved..."
Dylan looked at him with an exaggerated gasp.
"Oh come on, I have yet to accept you, and stop interpreting me. I have stuck a deal! Dylan here has agreed to abdicate his throne to me."
Raven just frowned. "What does that mean? Nico, you're a vampire. How can you be an alpha king?"
"He can. I am his rightful mate and that gives him every right to be an alpha." Dylan added with a proud expression.
Raven just shook his head. "Are you guys forgetting that we are vampires! Like vampires! Werewolves hate us. Ring a bell?"
"If Nico is the pack king, then everything changes. You won't just be vampires but you all will be the brothers of the king," Dylan said.
Everyone looked confused at this,
"What he is trying to say is that.. If I become the alpha king I will be able to restore our race. It will be a tough job but.. with me at their head, everything will change," Nicolai explained it to them clearly.
Raven and Matt looked over reluctantly at Dylan while the younger vampires really approved of it.
A panting figure appeared behind Raven and Matt. Killian who was soaking wet walked into the hut looking in a certain direction. Suddenly he snapped out of his dazed state and looked at Dylan. "What did I just hear.. Dylan what did you do?"
"It's Wolfie. I've abdicated my throne to my Luna, Nicolai. Everyone is under his control now."
Killian's eyes went wide. "Oh god what have you done?"
"What had to be done years ago," saying this Dylan looked back with a bright smile. "My dear Nico, can we go home?"
Nicolai doubtfully glanced back. Hunter once again gave him a thumbs up. "yes we can.. but you have to personally assure that none of my brothers would be hurt in your pack."
"I promise to the moon goddess that I will take good care of them.'
"O-okay… so.. Looks like we are going back to the arctic wolf pack.."
