Nico's hands trembled with a mixture of adrenaline and frustration as he secured the vampire to a sturdy oak tree deep within the heart of the forest. The creature snarled and spat at them, his bloody mouth contorted into a menacing grin as he defiantly refused to cooperate.
"We know you're delivering blood to Elijah," Nico growled, his voice low and dangerous as he glared at their captive. "Where is he? Where's your lair?"
The vampire's laughter echoed through the forest, a chilling sound that sent shivers down Nico's spine. "You think I'll tell you anything?" he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt as he spat in Nico's face. "You're fools if you think you can stop us."
But Nico remained unfazed, his smirk unwavering as he leaned in closer to the vampire, his eyes glittering with determination. "We don't need you to talk," he said, his voice dripping with confidence. "I can track your scent. And I'll find Elijah, with or without your help."
