Emily's POV
I watched Waylen ignore his phone for the third time.
"Aren't you going to pick it up?" I asked him.
When he turned around to look at me, I must have had a look on my face because he touched my brows.
Great! I must have had that look where my brows are pulled together and my eyes are beginning to narrow just a little bit.
"It's Sunny. I will call her later. Don't give me that look. I thought you don't mind that I have Sunny. You gave me permission, didn't you?" Waylem asked me.
(That was before I knew I would be spending the rest of my life with you and raising two children!) I wanted to yell at him but only ended up saying.
"Sure. Whatever. I can always take a lover one day, can't I?"
I watched the man in front of me, he was looking at me but it felt like his gaze wasn't on me.
It felt like he was looking through me like I was a transparent object.
