Chapter 144: Worlds apart

Dicky was enchanted as we stopped in front of Castaway palace. Personally I would have loved the wedding to be held in my country but when two kingdom countries are merging together rules can be tricky and in this case, King Zuri insisted on hosting the wedding.
Dicky looked around.
"Dude, I can't believe your new brother is this rich. He may be richer than you" Dicky whispered to me.
Zuri's relationship with Emily might be on the mend but mine with him was a long way from becoming cordial. He was the reason Emily ran in the first place.
"He's not my new brother" I murmured.
There was no reason sugar coating it. I just wanted to get married to the mother of my children and go home.
It's that simple! For a second I wondered what Emily was doing.
