Kaley's Pov
He looked at me. The monster in him awakening. His eyes pinpointed and narrowed as darkness descended over the very thing that made him human.
He moved threateningly towards me, the glimpse of that six year old boy he once was disappeared instantly...just in a flash.
I had never seen something like that in my life before, such swift and masterful switch from the little good left in him to the mountain of evil, he had become.
And like always the evil won.
He was so close, I flinched.
It seemed to be my reaction to him these days- pure terror.
Just felt my spine clench up like a cactus, with it thorns and whatnot.
I looked at him, tears blurring my vision instantly.
I didn't back away, I was too grief stricken to. He grabbed both my arms and shook me.
