"Who's rogues am I taking in?" Elijah asked me.
My heart started pounding like It was beating to the tune of an out of control drum.
This is the moment that will seal Eloise's fate.
God help us all.
"Does it matter? You will have someone like me owe you a favor, Alpha Elijah and it pays to have friends in high places" I tried to sound unbothered like I have another trick up my sleeve.
If I showed that I was out of options, Elijah would know and he would pouce.
I met Alpha Elijah for the first time three years ago. He was and still is a ruthless controlling brute who stood for everything I detested.
Our encounter was on a rainy day and I was out for a drive when I saw this young red haired girl dragging a piece of luggage in the rain.
I stopped and asked if she needed a ride. She told me she does but I was a stranger to her.
