Chapter 96: Out of my mind
Waylen's POV
Dicky and Joey watched me as I ate. It was my second serving and even though my attention was elsewhere, I was hungry and I ate vicariously.
And it wasn't because of the truth I just learnt about Sunny or maybe it was.
I was just restless.
I ignored Dicky and Joey and I looked at Stacy, my only sane friend who somehow was as quiet as me as she ate.
It's been really long since we broke bread together, almost three days and now that we were eating together, there was an impending discussion from Joey that would certainly make me stomp out of the room and I will end up not talking to him for days, a discussion about Sunny.
I hoped that the stern look on my face was enough to keep Joey and Dicky off my back.
"You are starring, boys" I told them without taking my eyes off of my plate.
Joey and Dicky looked away and focused on their plate but only for a minute.
