Mr. Rogers was standing right there waiting for them. Both Merry and Henry were terrified and taken aback to see him because they believed that Mr. Rogers was not at the facility during that time.
Nobody said a word, not Mr. Rogers nor them. The silence was deafening and the tension could be felt in the air. Suddenly, Mr. Rogers broke the silence and in a calm voice said, "I know why you two are here. You came to see Katie, didn't you?"

The fear of being caught had become a reality, and the gravity of the situation sunk in as Mr. Rogers' calm demeanor made it clear that he was not to be trifled with. Merry and Henry exchanged nervous glances, unsure of what to do or say next.
"You can see her. Come, I will take you to her." Mr. Rogers offered.
