Merry, Olivia and all the other colleagues went on with their work after the news was shared.
Merry was focused on her task with other marketing team members when Sarah, the manager came out of her office.
"Anna, could you come to my office for a moment?"
Merry's heart skipped a bit as she heard Sarah calling her name. She took a deep breath and quickly gathered herself before heading to Sarah's office.
She entered the room and greeted Sarah with a polite tone, saying, "Good morning, Sarah."
"Yeah, good morning," Sarah replied, her voice laced with a sense of urgency as she motioned Merry to take a seat.
Merry took a seat and waited for Sarah to begin speaking.
"You heard about the situation with Esther, right?"
"Yes," Merry replied with a nod, "I heard that she didn't want Olivia to be her manager for the exhibition anymore."
