Merry tried hard to keep her expression blank. Mrs. Miller stood at the altar of the door waiting for any kind of response from Merry but when Merry didn't utter a word even after few seconds had passed, she left.
Merry feared at first that her friends might believe in Mrs. Miller's made up words. As Mrs Miller had planned to tell them about how they come to be in the organisation. And Merry already knew thanks to that binder that most of her friends didn't have that much of a good life before being brought in by the organization.
She had a little bit of doubt in her heart what if her friends actually think that Mrs. Miller had rescued them.
But in the end she came to a conclusion that her worries had no bases. Cole and all her other friends clearly knew what the organization was making them do in the name of missions and trainings.
