"I can imagine why you would think like that. I know you have no reason to believe me. But just think okay, for a second, the organization wouldn't go this far to just fool you into doing anything. You are already their captive. They can make you do things for them one way or the other, can't they?" The teacher said trying to give an explanation for all his doings those past days.
"That's true. But.."
Cole tried to object once again. However, the teacher stopped him and said, "For now, you don't need to instantly believe me, just listen to what I have to say. The part where you will believe me or not can come later. Moreover, when things get revealed, the truth will be out anyways. So, just hear me out."
Cole thought for a while and decided that he should at least hear what the teacher had to say.
"Okay, I will listen. But that doesn't mean I am gonna believe all your words."
