The tea ended up getting cold as Mei Deng never broke his concentration from his sick mother, who must have endured a lot of torture. Because he was sitting up close, he noticed some needle marks at the side of her neck.
'Why would there be needle marks?' he furrowed his brows and turned around, only to crash into Wang Tengfei, holding another tray of tea, wearing a defeated expression.
"Shit! Are you fucking blind?!" He cursed, taking out his anger on the man who had helped him thus far.
Wang Tengfei parted his lips to say something back, but when his eyes locked with his partner's furious gaze, he ultimately couldn't. Defeated, the general let out a sigh and left, with the tea spilled all over his robes.
Once Tengfei had left, Mei Deng pinched his temples "why did I shout at him like that? And who was the frickin tea for?" He questioned, shaking his head from side to side.
