Shen Yating and the rest of the troops swiftly followed the general and flooded into the house, seizing everything and anything they could lay their hands on. By the time the general barged inside, Minister Ma was no where to be found and the backdoor was left open.
"General, we've found a tunnel, some soldiers just returned and confirmed that it leads back to Minister Ma's house." A middle aged man reported with clasped hands.
"Check for more tunnels! Don't let him get away!" Shen Yating declared, dispatching some men to find any possible escape route.
Old Wang general crouched down and knocked on the wooden floor, the sound produced was hollow enough for the old man to know there was something hidden there.
He wasted no time and dug his sword into it ripping it open to reveal sacs, with small snuff bottles stacked up to the ceiling.
