*Wang Residence*
Old Wang general and Shen Yating had gone out to meet with the general's spy, since early that morning. Hence, Wang Tengfei decided to stay back and wait for his father, to consult him in regards to the items confiscated.
He felt uneasy over keeping them in the Wang quarters and wanted to get rid of them as soon as possible.
It was during mid-day, while he was busy deliberating the next course of action, that he heard an uproar from the slaves kept in the residence.
"It's been quiet, too quiet." He resolved, taking up his sword and standing up. Of course, the slaves knew where they were, and were smart enough to tone down the noise.
But as the general rushed outside, he soon realized why they had been silent all throughout the day. The first person his gaze landed on, was the servant woman his father promised to introduce once he returned.
In her arms, was a woman no less than eighteen coughing up blood with gruesome swellings at the side of her neck.
