With the servant gone, Chan Zian inched closer, "say, why don't we drink till we can see whose drunk first?"
Ming Baozhai stuck out his tongue, "so bitter, why is my elder sister fixated on this?" He blurted out, vividly disgusted.
"Speaking of your family... who would have known you're this well off? Yu Xiaoguang's house is much smaller in comparison. It must be nice to live such a carefree life." Chan Zian told him, then took a huge gulp.
Ming Baozhai watched his Adam's apple like he was in a trance, as drops of liquid ran down his jaw to the side of his neck.
Chan Zian looked at him from the corner of his eye, he flinched upon realization that the other man had been staring.
"What? Is there something on my face?" He panicked, Ming Baozhai looked away, then helped himself to more liquor.
After he had taken a reasonable amount he replied, "don't overestimate me, who could be happy being coddled like this?"
