The venue was thrown into complete disarray, brother Chen, upon seeing he had ruined Yu Xiaoguang's efforts started to cackle uncontrollably. The scholars along with the audience were furious, the youngster even went as far as to roll on his back, clapping his hands to curtail his laughter.
Mei Deng stood paralysed in stun for an entire half minute, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that moment. Perhaps, he would have stayed frozen forever, if the old scholar for poetry did not speak up.
