The night swiftly bled into day, and the final day of trial was finally upon the general. As expected, Wang Tengfei was brought into court, where all the officials and the Emperor were. He was made to kneel for the entirety of the trial, upon until the final decision would be made.
"Bring in Yu Yīnyó!" The Emperor announced, his guards and some maids swiftly heeded his calls and in under minutes they returned, with a pale looking Yu Yīnyó.
At the sight of the Emperor and the Wang general, she attempted to fall to her knees, but was swiftly stopped by the Emperor.
"Yu Yīnyó, you've been summoned to tell us who it was that orchestrated your kidnapping. I understand, that as a daughter of the Shao family, and a madam of the Yu family you've been through a lot. However, your testimony will determine the final verdict." Said the Emperor, purposely leaving out the general's relation to the case.
