"Yu Xiaoguang, once you're through we should have a talk." Lihua had said to him, hence once he finished with his mother, he went into the kitchen, where Lihua stood in wait.
Mei Deng picked up a pot to try and make something, however Lihua was witty enough to block him, by offering him some tea to keep his hands busy.
After sipping the tea he let out a sigh, "what did you want to discuss?" Lihua nervously chewed on her lower lip, as though considering whether or not to speak to him.
Mei Deng noticed her eyes bounce across the kitchen, he dropped his cup on the table surface and faced her properly. "You can tell me." He insisted in a low tone.
Lihua relaxed her posture, "it's about your relationship with the general."
At the mention of the general he swallowed hard, and almost choked on his saliva. "how many times must I insist that there's nothing between us." He told her, fighting back a wide grin.
