At an interval of ten minutes, a messenger would come and go out of the Eight prince's quarters, each leaving with a red mark on the side of their face.

The servant shook his head, "no master, it's been as peaceful as it was this morning. The general is still in the prison and not one soldier has encamped around the palace gates."
The eight prince clicked his tongue, "what bullshit is this?! What is taking them so long? Don't you realize that this is the best time to act?!" He ran his fingers through his locks of hair, frustrated.
