*Flashback continues*
By the time the siblings arrived, the head servant who usually waited at the gates to scold them, was no where to be seen.
"Gege, we're lucky to have missed her!" Nuan exclaimed with joy, although her brother thought it strange he decided not to overthink it.
Bohai marched over to where they placed the buckets and dropped the two in his hands. Before he could properly lower himself, Nuan jumped off his shoulders and landed on her face.
"Are you okay?" Her brother rushed to her side, almost kicking a bucket. He wrapped a hand around her waist, and helped to steady her.
"I'm fine, it only hurts a little." She smiled at him, he huffed, "don't be so reckless, we don't want to trouble master to call a physician."
She nodded, truly sorry for causing trouble, to apologize she pinched his nose and laughed. "This means you'll carry my bucket of water again."
Bohai rolled his eyes and wandered if his spoilt sister would go as far as to hurt her own leg.
