The guards from the palace hollered at each other, whilst they tossed the belongings of Shao Yŭxuān here and there, searching for incriminating evidence.
The members of the Shao clan stood outside the entrance in their numbers, thankfully the estate was a secluded area.
"This is outrageous! Does the Shao family name have no clout? How dare they run us out of the house?" One of Shao Yŭxuān's uncle's voiced out. He was the first one who came in contact with the relentless men and tried to stop their movement.
Unfortunately, he was pushed to the side and ended up scrapping his elbow. The guards forced their way inside without any explanation and conducted a search for an entire hour.
It was only after then that they filed out of the residence without saying a word to anyone, and returned to the palace.
The man who oversaw the search was the most impartial man in the capital, whose reputation was built steadily over the years.
