*Wang Quarters*
Mei Deng was taken in a carriage to the Wang family house. Although it had been some years, the place still had it's pride attached to it.
Inside, there were some men with shields, some with swords and others with crossbows practicing together, with two men overlooking the training. Since, Mei Deng could not recognize any of them, he took it that they were not trainees, but rather full pledged soldiers.
"What about Da-Xia? Where is she now?" Yu Xiaoguang asked, as they strolled through the perimeters.
Shaojie did not answer and continued to show the way towards the old Wang General's quarters.
Mei Deng felt his chest tightened, 'wait, are we going to see THAT general Wang?' he panicked in his head, compared to his father, Mei Deng was less afraid of Wang Tengfei.
And, after disappearing for four years, there was simply no telling what the old man might do to him. Especially without giving him an explanation about Daiyu's whereabouts.
