On hearing the General's words, Mei Deng hurried his footsteps and led Ju into the chamber he was previously inside. There, he carefully laid Ju on the General's bed, and proceeded to search the room for the medicine the general spoke of.
Looking through the boxes in the room, he managed to find a box which had some first aid materials inside it. He rummaged through them, till he found a suitable liquid paste.
"Hold still, I'll gently apply this to your face." Yu Xiaoguang told her, brandishing his finger in front of her eyes. He noticed her hands were jittering too much, she was extremely nervous despite the pain.
"It will be fine." He calmly told her, giving her hand a tight squeeze. The woman slowly nodded in response and allowed this strange man to touch her face...
"Tengfei, move out of the way!" Consort Xīnyí cursed for the upteenth time, pointing furiously at her stubborn godson, who brandished his sword carelessly.
