Mei Deng continued marching forward, until he met with Ruolan midway, she along with other servants were folding all the tents into carts. Taking this as an opportunity, he crouched down and helped to work.
"Thank you..." Ruolan's words were left hanging, when she noticed who it was that offered a helping hand.
"It's you? Why are you here amongst us commoners?" She suddenly spewed out, Mei Deng raised a brow at her odd question.
Realizing she had voiced her thoughts out, she covered up the tension with a chuckle, "I just meant that you're supposed to be with the general. Are you looking for him?"
"I was actually looking for you." He replied, Ruolan widened her eyes, then turned around, hiding her flustered expression from Mei Deng.
