The general stood directly in front of Mei Deng, refusing to let him take another step. "Yu Xiaoguang, you said you'd treat my wife in the next town. So what is this you're saying now?"
Mei Deng sneered, 'As if it would be that easy, this general is up to something.' Wearing an all knowing look, he crossed his arms across his chest.
"And I intend to make good on that promise, only, if you allow me ride separately. It would be too bothersome to start moving things after we've arrived." Yu Xiaoguang sharply inserted, staring right back at the general.
"Yu Xiaoguang, are you insinuating that I'm not a man of my word?"
"I wouldn't dare to-"
"Then get in the carriage." Wang Tengfei said with gritted teeth.
"That I won't allow."
The general clicked his tongue, "When did you become so stubborn?"
