Yingjie stared at the stranger who walked inside without making the slightest noise, despite the intimidating aura he carried. Once he reached a couple of feet distance between himself and the sisters, Ah-lam sprang forth, baring her sharp long nails in front of him.
"Don't take another step, unless you want to die." She said, maintaining a defensive position, standing in front of a bleeding Ah Cy.
It marveled Yingjie that despite having an arrow in her palm, the woman did not falter, nor did she shed a single tear!
"I'm not concerned with you, where is Ruolan?" He asked once more, pointing his sharp bow at Ah-lam, not an ounce of fear in his eyes.
Tung who could only guess he meant the servant downstairs, quickly spoke up, "There's a room underneath! She's inside of it, go save her!" The young boy cried out abruptly, sending fear through Yingjie's heart.
"Shhhh!" Yingjie whispered, holding onto his shoulders, a worrisome look on his face.
