Mei Deng had everyone inside the General's tent file out, leaving just them two inside.
"Brother traffic!" He cried out, looking at the needles drilled into the side of his neck, he quickly checked for his pulse but couldn't catch a thing.
His heart skipped a nervous beat as he placed his ear on the man's chest, only to discover there was no heartbeat.
"Hey! What game are you busy playing now! Brother traffic, are you listening! Wakeup!" Without thinking twice, he took out the needles, drawing some of the General's blood.
He brought his nose to the side of his neck and took a whiff of it, trying to ascertain what sort of medicine was administered.
'It's no good! It's too faint to catch a scent!' he hissed inwardly, holding onto the general's sides, searching for anything on him that could give him a clue.
His hands snaked from his shoulders to his arms, down to his wrists, where he discovered that one had something clutched tightly in it.
