As they reached the cave, Mei Deng's journey was cut short by two men, and a boy on their shoulder, approaching from the direction they were coming from.
"Hey, that's Gāo Tai-hua!" Liú Yong cried out, Mei Deng didn't know who that was but decided to cast a glance. Though it was not in waste, as his attention was grasped by the boy on his back.
"Isn't that the village head?" Without asking, he rushed over to the two and took a better look.
"He's injured, Liú Yong, let's take him back, I need to treat him immediately." Yu Xiaoguang announced, forgetting all about going to the cave to see the general.
Or the assasin who stood in front of him.
Folding his palms, Yingjie pleaded, "Please, help us, he's barely awake and needs medical attention."
Mei Deng ignored him, "Do you know the way back?" He asked Liú Yong, the captain nodded, he took the village head off Gāo Tai-hua's tired hands and turned to Mei Deng.
