*Emperor's Hall*
Xīnyí walked into the hall and took a bow to the Emperor, as she rose from her position, she noticed the scrolls scattered across his table and could guess why she was summoned.
"Noble Consort, you have been called for a questioning, anything you say now is being written and recorded. Hence, you should answer wisely."
Xīnyí looked up at the consort who dared to speak to her in that manner, she didn't need to be told twice that something was wrong.
"Yes, I accept.' she said, the Eunuch signalled an official holding a brush, seated at the Emperor's left side. On impulse, he started to write, indicating that the interrogation had commenced.
The Emperor picked up the scroll, "Noble Consort, it says here, that the responsibility of guarding the late Emperor's bronze pot at the time it was stolen fell on you. Tell me, how do you plan to take responsibility?"
Xīnyí widened her eyes, "Emperor, I don't understand."
