The general glided across the halls of the residence, pushing back door after door, peering in room after room, searching for what he had come looking for.
Kicking the door open to an upper room, he walked into one of the women from earlier, currently midway in the middle of changing her outer robes.
"Who are you?!" She screeched at the top of her lungs, clasping the peach robe to her chest, taking messy steps back.
Wang Tengfei closed the door behind him and reached for the sword he had taken off the guard from the prison cell.
"Help! Someone help me-" her scream was cut short by the tip of the blade directed at her neck. Her hands let go of the robes, allowing them fall unceremoniously to the floor.
"I'm looking for the eternal compass, and I don't want to make my person wait. So spare me the trouble and tell me where it is." The general stated, slowly gliding the blade from her neck to her shoulders.
