Still on his knees, Mei Deng soaked in the vision before him, he looked the same, save for the healthier glow about him, and the way he packed his hair into a messy ponytail, with a silver bow.
"You may stand, your knees must hurt. I'll have tea sent for us." Said the Tainted Ghoul, gesturing Mei Deng to sit on the available chair, rested against the stack of scrolls.
Mei Deng blinked twice, 'did he say tea?'
"Oh, and rest assured, I haven't killed anyone from your camp, so you can place your mind at ease." The leader sharply inserted, then snapped his fingers, "Come inside."
Just like he offered, two men came in each holding a tray of tea, dressed somewhat identically to the guards, the only difference being the black face veil they sported.
Mei Deng raised a questioning brow as to why the face veil was necessary, only for the Tainted Ghoul to respond to his expression, as though he were reason his mind.
