The knife came flying at a fast pace with full force behind it, taking it's aim at Mei Deng's left eye.
*Clash*
Just before the projectile could come in contact, another knife, or rather a dagger came at a stronger pace and collided against it, sending both flying.
Mei Deng rose to his feet, "Bàba!" His daughter cried into his embrace, confused over what had just happened.
Her father, in turn narrowed his gaze at both knives laying lifelessly on the floor before his feet. "I was so stunned, I couldn't even move." He raised his focus to the Tainted Ghoul, who wore an expressionless demeanor on his face.
Thinking swiftly, he tried to trace the source of the other knife, 'If he threw the first, and the second came from that direction, then…' his thoughts were completed by the Tainted Ghoul, who had apparently had enough.
