Mei Deng stood beside the Tainted Ghoul and asked once more, "I have medical skills, so if it's fine with you, can I examine the prisoner?"
"You wish to? Why?" Asked the Tainted Ghoul, the sense of urgency in his tone dropped significantly.
Mei Deng answered, "Because, there's something I suspect, but I cannot be certain of it without inspecting it."
Folding his arms he interrogated, "What is it?"
Relaxing his shoulders, Mei Deng replied with a question, "Have you ever heard of Kiss Of Death?"
Both men who had come in to make the report flinched at the mere mention, even their leader hardened his stare at the mention of that dreadful disease.
"What does that disease have to do with anything?" Their leader inquired, his tone was hard to read, and so was his expression. Mei Deng knew that if he said something out of line, he might get punished for it.
"Did you hear of how it resurfaced again four years ago?"
