The general returned at the break of dawn from some 'light training' to the room where Yu Xiaoguang and his daughter spent the night. After the incident with the Tainted Ghoul, he resolved within himself to be strong enough to protect those important to him.
"Still sleeping?" He said under his breath, watching Yu Xiaoguang sleep soundly, the little child had already woken up and was outside chasing a chicken.
The general reached for the other man's face and gently caressed it with his index finger, pushing away some loose strands of hair. His gaze softened when Yu Xiaoguang nestled into his touch.
"Such a stubborn head, why can't you just do as I say?" Wang Tengfei whispered, Yu Xiaoguang stirred, forcing the general to part with him, afraid to disrupt his sleep.
