Waking up the next morning, Chan Zian set out first to practice his swordsmanship, and hone his fighting technique. He believed that just because he was in the palace, did not mean he had to live the easy life.
Swinging his sword close to the river that ran through the quarters, he noticed the arrival of an unfamiliar face at the prince's quarters. He placed his sword back in it's holster and studied the person closer. It was upon closer inspection that he realized who this person was.
Concealing his presence he climbed onto the roof of the prince's entertainment room, to fulfill his second agenda for staying. Which was to find all the necessary information he could gather.
"What is the minister of war doing here so early?" He guessed that the man came just before the morning court would commence, but wondered why he came to see the crown prince.
