Da-Xia sat on the General's shoulders, whilst Bingwen marched in front, supposedly leading the way to the tarvern. He held a long stick in hand as he marched carelessly in front.
The general noticed that little girls who passed by with their mothers would stare at Bingwen and blush whenever he caught their stares. Whereas for him, it was the mothers who kept their curious gazes directed at him.
"Try and keep up! Once I speed up you might not be able to catch up! I might get there before you do!" Bingwen announced pulling on his left eye, making an ugly face.
The general answered, "It isn't about who arrives first, and even if you do get out of sight I'll be able to track you with your footprints." He directed Bingwen's attention to the footprints he left behind, causing the younger to groan in defeat.
He angrily kicked the sand under his feet and marched forward, only to discover he made even more prints by doing so.
