As far as Bingwen could remember, his real parents were just servants under Shao Yŭxuān who accidentally had him from not being careful. They weren't married or even together, it was just an accident. One his mother constantly reminded him of at any given chance.
Growing up he had convinced himself that he would die loveless and without a name. It had never occurred to him that a stranger lurking around Shao Yŭxuān's quarters would end up becoming his everything.
"What about Da-Xia?" He desperately asked coming back to his senses.
Mei Deng nervously scratched the back of his neck, "I think she's had enough travelling for a while. And besides, I want to travel with my son." In a quieter tone he chuckled lightly, "Just don't tell her I said that."
Bingwen blinked twice, "Are you sure? You said it yourself I'm very stubborn and that friend of yours looks like he's really important. What if I mess up?" He panicked, reconsidering the offer.
