Chan Zian marched into the hall and bowed slightly to prince Caishen, beads of sweat decorated his neck from the training he was in the middle of.
Ever since the minister of War visited, Chan had noticed that the crown prince had become distant and wouldn't see anyone, he hadn't even gone back to his sadistic tendencies.
Though the latter served as a relief for the soldier.
"I want you to accompany Miss Ming to her family house for a visit, the Emperor has allowed it, so she may go back for the afternoon." He said without once raising his head from the records on his desk.
"But my job is to serve you directly, any other guard could escort her perfectly." Chan Zian replied with his head still bowed.
"Are you refusing to do as I say?" The crown prince snapped at him, startling Chan Zian by his sudden raise of pitch.
