"General, did you sleep well?" Asked the soldier riding the cart to Wang Tengfei who alighted the carriage first. His eyes trailed from the scratches on the General's bare arms, to his untamed locks of hair that fell at the sides of his face onto his shoulders, highlighting his eyes.
A shirtless Wang Tengfei stretched his hands behind his head and cracked his neck, inhaling the morning breeze that gently pushed his hair back.
He looked over his shoulder at the carriage and slightly lifted the corner of his mouth into a half smile.
"How's the path looking?" Wang Tengfei inquired, as he marched forward with a hand crossed over his stomach and the other pinched his chin.
"The tree is still in the way blocking the entire road, I went around and asked the villagers for another route, but they insisted this was the only path." His soldier reported, escorting the general to the scene.
