"Why…why are assassins coming out of the village head's residence?"
Wang Tengfei exchanged an all knowing look with his soldier then placed both hands on Mei Deng's shoulders.
"You go back first, I'll handle the rest." Wang Tengfei said to him, intentionally blocking Mei Deng's view of the residence.
"But I'm already here, he might be in danger and need medical help." Although he said that, the look in the soldier's eye was proof plenty that the village head was most likely dead.
The general plastered a small smile onto his lips, "You don't have any medical tools here, so go back first, your children must be tired and looking for you…"
Mei Deng peeled the General's hands off his shoulders and stared at him fiercely, "I'm not going to leave you, never again. So don't tell me to go." He stated, then held onto Wang Tengfei's wrists.
