Just like Chan Zian had offered, Mei Deng ended up having to pass the night at his classmates house. Because the bed was old and small, Chan Zian offered to sleep on the ground. Unlike his escapade with the general, Mei Deng simply couldn't care less if both of them shared the bed.
"Tell me, what are your brothers like?" Yu Xiaoguang asked, trying to make some conversation to calm his tensed nerves. He couldn't stop thinking over how Wang Tengfei would react to returning to an empty house, and hence needed a distraction.
"Why do you want to know? Do you want to compare brothers?" Chan Zian retorted in a feisty tone, showing off his spirit of rivalry.
Mei Deng dry chuckled.
"I don't think any of your brothers can rival mine, do you still want to brag?" Yu Xiaoguang teased, comparing Wang Tengfei to any one else in the capital was just too great an injustice.
