Madam Harris' face was so pale it looked light green; her auburn-colored hair caught in a bun at the back of her head lost its shine, and her pouty lips that were always painted bright red were now brown and dried.
Though the bullets pierced her body countlessly, there wasn't a single drop of blood leaving her corpse; it was as if it all vanished. But in truth, she was dead long before they started spraying bullets; her body was completely drained of blood.
"I am Xander Mcknight." The vampire used his thumb to wipe away the trail of blood that was on his chin before sticking it into his mouth. He slipped his glasses back on before moving forward, stepping over Madam Harris' corpse.ย
