Elias wiped the blood seeping from his nose with the back of his hand and for a moment, he only stood in place staring at it with a blank expression on his face.
Subconsciously, he brought his hand to the left of his chest and didn't even wince when the magic circle burned his palm. The painful sensation of his insides feeling as if they were on fire was very familiar to him.
Elias slowly looked down, focusing his red eyes on where his hand was still pressed against his chest. "Amaira," he muttered.
Oliver rose from his laying position with a huge gasp and rubbed his aching chest as he coughed up bits of blood. He had reverted to his original appearance, but his hand that was burnt from the poison in Adeline's blood hadn't healed.
His silver eyes fell on his brother's back and he rose to his feet before dressing his lower half.
"Why isn't your hand healing?" Elias questioned without turning around.
